About Guenther's!
In 2001, after 15
years in the catering business we decided to open Guenther's in order to
showcase our love of cooking, and our own sense of eclectic style. The entire
Jones family is intimately involved in every aspect of Guenther's, from
our chef Ian and his sous' chef Noel to Nancy and Victoria managing service and
catering. Chuck ,our founder and resident story teller oversees the kitchen and spins
yarns to Patrons.
When you arrive you will be greeted by Logan, who will be wagging his tail , and
begging to be scratched. Logan is of uncertain lineage, but we are confident his
parents came from a good neighborhood.
We built our building using recycled lumber and metal from buildings which we salvaged.
Inside we feature artwork by Frank Belic, Susan Lich, Victoria Jones and Jack Wasson.
The large murals were painted by an unknown Tramp Artist during the great depression and were rediscovered when we salvaged an old beer joint near Houston.
Ian, our chef and
his staff take great pride in the preparation of your meal. We all understand
that each individual meal is important .
We will gladly accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions. It is our
goal to make your visit special.
